GBA VICE PRESIDENT WILLIAM C. CARTER TO SPEAK AT 2010 JOINT CONFERENCE OF MWEA AND MO-AWWA

Lenexa, Kan. (March 2, 2010) – William C. Carter, vice president and principal in charge of GBA’s Water Environment Group, is scheduled to speak at a session of this year’s Joint Conference of the Missouri Water Environment Association (MWEA) and the Missouri Section of the American Water Works Association (MO-AWWA). The 6th annual joint conference will be held March 28 - 31 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort, Osage Beach, Mo. Carter’s presentation, which is entitled “Private Lateral Programs – Where do I Start?,” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30. GBA is a leading engineering and architectural firm with headquarters here and offices in the St. Louis, Chicago, and Omaha metro areas.

The Conference is expected to attract more than 800 experts in water quality. The topic of this year’s Conference is “drinking water quality…a global issue that requires constant research, evaluation, scrutiny and advancement from industry leaders. Innovation in contaminant detection, new regulatory requirements, potential health issues and increased security concerns are creating challenges that…will be reviewed at this event.”
