VISTORY JUNCTION NAMES KBS CONSTRUCTORS AS CAMP'S CONTRACTOR

Kansas City, KS (May 14, 2009)— At a press conference held Wednesday May 13, Victory Junction announced that KBS Constructors has been chosen as the contractor of record for Victory Junction Midwest, a camp for children with chronic illnesses scheduled to open in 2011. According to Victory Junction Midwest President Mike Lepore, the decision to work with KBS was based not only on their technical capabilities, but also on their willingness to give, and the passion they demonstrated for the project and its cause. In pursuing the project, KBS leaders visited Victory Junction’s North Carolina location to experience the camp firsthand. What they saw inspired them to offer their services free of charge to build the Midwest location’s medical facility, a component critical to making the camp possible.

"We are thrilled to partner with Dan Foltz and the Team at KBS.  Their expertise, their generosity, and their genuine desire as an organization to make this Camp a reality is very gratifying, and humbling.  We look forward to a great partnership, and to working together to benefit children with chronic illnesses living in the Midwest," said Mike Lepore, President of Victory Junction.

On hand for Wednesday’s announcement was Victory Junction founder and NASCAR driver, Kyle Petty, joined by over 200 motorcycle riders who made the event a stop on the 15th Anniversary Chick-fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, a 3,500 mile ride established to raise money for children’s charities, including Victory Junction.
