MEDIA SERVICES CELEBRATES CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK

Customer service team is commemorated for their excellence

( Kansas City, MO) - Media Services celebrated Customer Service Week the week of October 5th through 9th with several company activities.  Customer Service Week is a national event devoted to recognizing the importance of supporting customers with the highest degree of care and professionalism.

Customer Service Week was made a national holiday by congress in 1992.  It is celebrated the first full week of October every year.  The event recognizes the importance of customer service and honors the people who serve and support.  Thousands of companies across the U.S. and around the world celebrate Customer Service Week.  For a listing of the companies that participate visit www.csweek.com.

“It is the people behind the services and systems at Media Services and ShredTime that make the difference,” said Robert Rippentrop, president of Media Services and ShredTime.  “Customer service isn’t just a department - it’s our attitude.  We are proud to recognize our customer service team this year because they’ve done an outstanding job.”

For more on this topic visit the official customer service website (www.csweek.com).  Csweek.com was started by the Customer Service Group in 1991.  The group provides several free resources for planning a customer service event including: bi-weekly newsletters, email postcards, sample agendas, games, puzzles and how-to information.  Celebration materials imprinted with the official Customer Service Week logo are also available for purchase.
