LARRY SCHALL INDUCTED INTO THE ACADEMY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS
Lenexa, KS – April 23, 2009 – On April 17, Larry Schall, P.E., was honored by induction into the Academy of Civil Engineers at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Larry has served at Shafer, Kline & Warren, Inc. (SKW) since 1984, and was previously with the City of Kansas City, MO, and the City of Omaha, NE. He was invited to join this prestigious group for his outstanding work in the engineering field and in the community. Larry received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Missouri S&T in 1971.
The Academy of Civil Engineers was founded in 1972 and is composed of graduates who are outstanding in their field, leaders in community affairs, role models for young people and worthy of emulation. Each member is either an outstanding civil engineering practitioner, or one who is outstanding, recognized and distinguished in a field other than civil engineering. They are called upon by the department to be partners in the education of Missouri S & T engineering students.
