BOB FEATHERSTON APPOINTED TO GREATER KANSAS CITY ARMA 2009 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

(Kansas City, Mo.) – Bob Featherston, Media Services & ShredTime vice president of sales and marketing, has been named to the 2009 Greater Kansas City ARMA Board of Directors (www.gkcarma.org).  The position is one of 10 board positions and runs June 2009 to May 2010.

Greater Kansas City ARMA is a chapter of ARMA International (www.arma.org), a not-for-profit professional association dedicated to the future of records and information management.  ARMA stands for Association of Records Managers & Administrators.  The association was established in 1955 and is currently active in 30-plus countries.

“It’s important to be active and contribute to the future record management industry here in Kansas City,” said Featherston.  “I’m excited to be involved in such a strong local chapter and look forward to contributing to the continued success of the organization.”

Featherston will also be representing the Greater Kansas City ARMA board chapter at the regional Midwest Rocky Mountain Leadership Training Conference in Estes Park, Colo.  The three-day conference is being held this July.
