TERRACON'S MIKE YOST NAMED ONE OF THE "40 UNDER FORTY" BY INGRAM'S MAGAZINE

OLATHE, Kan. --- Mike Yost, vice president/general counsel and principal with Terracon, has been named one of Ingram’s “40 Under Forty” Class of 2009.

Yost is responsible for claims and litigation management and support, insurance coverages and policy renewals, company risk management training, and the overall management of the Legal Department. He is also co-chair of Terracon’s Quality Program Committee.

He is a leader in the community, serving as the chair of the Legal Affairs Committee of
ASFE The Best People on Earth (non-profit geo-professional trade organization), a member of the Legal Counsel’s Forum of the American Council of Engineering Companies, and active with the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City. He previously served on the City of Belton, Mo., Planning & Zoning Commission and helped found the Habitat for Humanity of Cass County, Mo.

Established in 1998, the Ingram’s “40 Under Forty” program has become recognized as one of the most respected honors in the Kansas City area. The program’s purpose is to recognize young people in the Kansas City community who balance tremendous professional achievements with generosity by giving their time, energy and talents to improving the lives of others in their communities.

Yost is the second Terracon employee to be recognized with this honor as Gayle Packer, director of Corporate Services, was part of last year’s class.
